Canon Gate gives access to Canon Lane from South Street. It was probably built in the 16th century but it soon fell into disrepair. The top of the gate collapsed and the remaining arch was turned into a stable. It was restored in 1894 and the upper storey was reconstructed. ~~ Canon Gate débouche dans Canon Lane à partir de South Street.
