L'église de Sainte Marie (St Mary's Church) a été fondée par Robert de Newburgh, le Comte de Warwick, en 1123. La crypte est la seule partie de l'édifice normand qui est arrivée jusqu'à nous. L'église que l'on peut voir aujourd'hui, date du XIV siècle et a été construite par Thomas Beauchamp pour abriter le tombeau familial. ~~ St Mary's Church was founded by Robert de Newburgh, Earl of Warwick, in 1123. The only remains of this original Norman building are in the crypt. Most of the church, as we know it today, was built in the 14th century by Thomas Beauchamp to house the family’s tomb.
