Dear gang,

Time has come to make a decision about this year’s outing.
In my last letter I have told you of my plan for all of us to abroad for a treasure hunt in a life-size labyrinth and everybody seemed overjoyed by the idea.
As you know, our fund raising project has managed an amazing £3.20. This would be hardly be enough to buy our leaders half an ice cream each on the trip.

Now, I’ve been thinking :

Travelling by bus not only costs money but will also produce carbon emission. Using transport (busses, ferries and the like) means some of us also taking sickness tablets and all those things any sensible doctor will tell you we can do without. Staying in a hotel is expensive and also mentally distressing. You’ll be away from your home, your bed and, most probably, they won’t have baked beans for breakfast. Also, a labyrinth can only be fun if it comes with a little risk taking. This will make our dear parents sick with worries, if they don’t turn down the idea altogether.

All considered, this is what I suggest :

I have found, on the Internet, a French town where an Englishman used to organise treasure hunts. The place looks very much like a labyrinth but it will be perfectly safe for all of us to explore from our computers at home. It won’t cost us the pennies we don’t have and it might even save the planet. All you have to do is :

  • Click here to download the questionnaire.
  • Click here to visit the labyrinth.
