Christ Church College, in Saint Aldate's, was founded in 1525. It is the only college in the world which chapel is also a cathedral. The tower above the main gate houses Great Tom, a 7 ton bell. Tom rings 101 times every evening at 9:05 commemorating the original number of Christ Church scholars. ~~~~ Christ Church College, dans la rue Saint Aldate, fut fondé en 1525.
