The "Jester" by James Butler was installed at the end of Henley Street in 1994. The statue represents a jester holding two polls (a small head on a stick). One of the head shows the mask of comedy. The other head shows the mask of tragedy. In Butler's words, the dancing jester symbolises man going through life with optimism above and tragedy lurking bellow. A plaque on the sculpture quotes Shakespeare’s words "The fool thinks himself wise, but the wise man knows he is a fool".
