Saint George’s Tower was the only building left standing after the German bombing raid which destroyed this part of Canterbury. It belonged to Saint George’s Church where dramatist Christopher Marlowe was baptised. ~~ La Tour Saint George est le seul édifice rescapé du bombardement qui a rasé la partie ouest de la ville lors de la seconde guerre mondiale.
